We are excited to invite you to our country Latvia, our home town Preili and the school.
Latvia is a country of fascinting and harmonious serenity. Travelling around our country will be a pleasant experience for those who wish to enjoy the beauty of natural trails and unharmed landscape, as well as for those interested in historical and cultural values.
Our region is called Latgale- the land of lakes. It comprises about a thousand lakes. Latgale attracts visitors by its intense cultural contrasts and the colourful character of the area. For a deeper insight into the heart of Latgale you should see the impressive Catholic churches, listen to the sound of the Latgalian language, and watch the pottery making process that embraces all the four elements- earth, air, fire and water.
